Ox blood was very rarely used in winemaking. Today, it's actually illegal, and is no longer used.

The non-vegan attributes of winemaking have to do with the straining process, not the actual ingredients. But I see where you're coming from. That's still an animal use, and thus, I must suffer to find special wine now! Nurrr.
